TD Garden Makes Front Office Sports' Inaugural Top 10 Venues List

Boston, MA (May 22, 2024) — TD Garden, New England's largest sports and entertainment arena, is proud to announce its recognition as one of the Front Office Sports 2024 Best Venues Winners. Front Office Sports (FOS), the leading multi-platform media and news organization covering the business of sports, today released its list of the 10 best venues in sports. This list was created in collaboration with Sports Innovation Lab to rank venues home to either professional, collegiate, or minor league sports.

TD Garden, home to the NHL's Boston Bruins and NBA's Boston Celtics, has long been the heartbeat of Boston's vibrant sports and entertainment culture. This award underscores TD Garden’s dedication to delivering unparalleled experiences for fans, athletes, and performers alike.

"We are incredibly honored to be named one of the Front Office Sports 2024 Best Venues," said Glen Thornborough, President of TD Garden and COO of the Boston Bruins. "This recognition is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team who strive to create unforgettable memories for everyone who walks through our doors. From cutting-edge technology and sustainability initiatives to world-class hospitality and community engagement, we are committed to setting the standard for excellence in the sports and entertainment industry."

Front Office Sports evaluated venues across various criteria, including technology, mobile app features, food options/dietary inclusivity, transportation offerings, mixed-use functionality, and overall venue design, and the responses were scored accordingly. The venues with the best fan experience were selected following this competitive process.

“In a landscape where innovation and fan experience reign supreme, these venues’ commitment to their guests through investing in cutting-edge venue technology and fan experience has propelled them into our top ten list,” said Adam White, CEO and Founder of Front Office Sports. “Each venue recognized showcases a dedication to enhancing the spectator experience and elevating the standard for sports venues.”

This year, TD Garden set a record by hosting 50 concerts in addition to over 200 special events and home games for the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics.

TD Garden is at the center of The Hub on Causeway, a transformative transit-oriented development on the former Boston Garden site. In 2019, Delaware North and Boston Properties unveiled the 1.5 million square foot mixed-use development, featuring retail, office, hotel, and residential spaces, along with an expansion of TD Garden. This major investment has significantly enhanced the West End, transforming the area into a revitalized destination and delivering substantial economic benefits to the City of Boston.
